How are Nominal Accounts in Sage Created or Managed?

Sage is accounting software that is used by accountants to do calculations of accounts in the company and also keep records in it as well as for creating an account in it. When you create an account, it allows you to copy the chart of accounts and then modify it according to your needs. So, it is wrong, the chart of one person’s account will not be shown in another person’s account. Our team Sage Customer Support has given the way to solve this issue in a very easy manner.   1. Start your system & open the sage accounting software

  2. Now under the option of Final Accounts, there is a link below it. Click on that link

  3. After clicking the link, a new window will open in which select the Trial Balance Tab and now from the drop-down menu click on Chart of accounts in the bottom of the list

  4. Select the option of Create Nominal account option located at the right side of the window

  5. Then in the empty text fields: code, name and based on, enter the details of your account.

  6. Now tap on the Create button and it will be shown in the chart of accounts with the option named custom.

  7. After this, if you want to edit your account then open it and do the changes you want to change in it and press save button. But if you want to delete your account then go to the Charts section and find the currently added account and then click on X icon to delete it.
