How to Import Data


To import data into this software, you must have CSV file format, so that you can easily import data to sage.


Steps to import data are as follows:

  • Open the sage application

  • Click on File Menu >> Select Import/Export

  • Select the records you want to import

  • Now select sage 50 import format in a resultant wizard

  • Then click Next button

  • Backup the company before importing and then click Next button

  • Select the browse button next

  • Now select the CSV file you wish to import in software and click Next button

  • Press on Finish button to import the file into the sage.

How to Backup Data


You need to backup data for your safety. So, if the file is corrupted or missing, you must have the backup of that file, so you can restore the data easily.


Steps for backing up the data are as follow:-

  • Open the company you wish to create a backup for

  • Select File >> then click on Backup

  • In the backup window, enter the name of the file

  • Select the save folder option for your backup

  • Now click on Ok button to initialize the backup process.
